Refund policy

How refunds work.

Operator: Masiar Ighani, Euskirchen. CommentCraft is a personal project, not skillbyte GmbH. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Stand: August 2026. This policy is also in the terms.

During the 7-day trial

You see exactly what the product does before a cent moves. Cancel during the trial and the card is never charged. That takes one click in Manage.

After the first charge

• Within 14 days of a charge — email hello@commentcraft.app and we refund that payment in full, no reason needed. This applies to the first charge of a subscription and to each renewal. The licence stops generating when the refund is issued.
• After 14 days — cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part-used months or the unused remainder of an annual term, because the monthly allowance is consumed as you go.
• If we broke it — an outage, a bug, or a change that removes something you were paying for: tell us and we refund, whatever the calendar says. Credits are never charged for a generation that failed; that is automatic and needs no request.

How the money comes back

Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and usually take 5–10 business days to appear. Annual plans bought at the discounted rate are refunded at the amount actually paid.

AppSumo lifetime codes are refunded under AppSumo's own 60-day policy, through AppSumo, not here.

Chargebacks: please email first. A chargeback costs us the payment plus a fee and gets the licence disabled automatically, and there is nothing in this policy you have to argue for.

EU consumers

EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right on digital services unless they expressly consent to begin immediately and acknowledge that they lose the right. Paddle’s checkout will collect that. German law. Consumers keep their statutory venue; merchants: Euskirchen.
