In the EU and the UK the amount above is the total — Paddle splits out the net price and the VAT on the checkout and on your invoice, which is why you will see two figures. In the US, sales tax is added where your state charges it. Have a VAT ID? Enter it at checkout and the VAT comes off.
Nothing is charged today. On day 8 the card is charged unless you cancel first, which takes one click in Manage. Your licence key arrives by email the moment checkout completes — there is no account to create. Checkout is run by Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record. Terms, privacy, refund policy.
